The Utah Health Care Association’s Medication Aid Certified course will consist of 60 clock hours of didactic (in-person classroom) training, which is consistent with the model curriculum, and at least 40 hours of practical training within a long-term care facility. Each student will complete their clinical hours at their own home facility with an approved on site clinical instructor of their choice.

UHCA can approve both virtual and in-person students. Virtual students are reserved for those who live outside of the Salt Lake Valley to accommodate the entire state. 

Utah Health Care Association is offering an approved Assisted Living Administrator course. 

This course has been adapted from the Senior Living University Manual as well as collaboration from the Department of Health and Human Services. All attendees will take an exam and receive a certificate upon completion.

We will also offer CEUs for this course. This course will satisfy rule R432-270-6e.
