UHCA has partnered with United Wound Healing to host an in-person Skin and wound Workshop. Join us August 6th at the Cascades at Riverwalk to learn from the industry experts and get hands-on experience with wound care.

The Utah Health Care Association’s Medication Aid Certified course will consist of 60 clock hours of didactic (in-person classroom) training consistent with the model curriculum and at least 40 hours of practical training within a long-term care facility. Each student will complete their clinical hours at their own home facility with an approved on-site clinical instructor of their choice.
UHCA can approve both virtual and in-person students. Virtual students are reserved for those living outside the Salt Lake Valley to accommodate the entire state.
